About 12th House Sanctuary
Not a Class. A Calling. A Coming Home.
There comes a point when you realize you’re not looking for another workout—you’re looking for a way back to yourself.
12th House Sanctuary was created for that moment. For the person who’s burned out on boutique yoga, group fitness classes disguised as spirituality, and spaces that talk about “balance” but don’t actually hold it.
This is a different kind of space. One that welcomes the sensitive, the spiritually curious, the tired, the healing, and the ones who crave depth over performance.
Why I Started This
After years of teaching in studios, managing chronic health issues, and feeling spiritually unfulfilled in the wellness world, I knew something had to change.
I didn’t want to teach yoga that skips the breath.
I didn’t want to be part of a system that turns healing into hustle.
I wanted presence. Real connection. Ritual. Slowness. Meaning.
So I created 12th House Sanctuary—a space that meets people where they are. That invites soul-level rest and self-inquiry. That honors traditional roots and personal truth.
Not a studio. A sanctuary.
Who I Am
I’m Kristen (you can call me Krissy or Durga Devi), and I’ve spent years studying traditional Hatha Yoga, Thai Bodywork, Reiki, and Ayurvedic lifestyle. But more than that, I’ve spent years unlearning the idea that healing needs to be loud, fast, or perfectly curated.
My approach is intuitive, grounded, and real. Some sessions involve movement. Some involve lying down and crying. All of them involve breath, honesty, and heart.
What I Offer
I offer private yoga, Thai bodywork, Reiki healing, emotional support, and Ayurveda-inspired wellness—all available online or in your own space.
I also offer a monthly membership for those looking for consistent, one-on-one care. You can read more about those on the [Offerings] page.
Let’s Connect
If you’ve made it this far, something probably resonated. I’d love to hear from you.
You can book a free discovery call or send me a message if you want to ask questions, share your story, or simply connect.
Healing doesn’t have to be performative.
Yoga doesn’t have to be trendy.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
